Ooooh ten more sleeps til christmas

Hello there
Are you all getting excited yet?
We are SUPER EXCITED.
Me and Charlie helped Steve put the christmas tree up yesterday while Mandy made mince pies.
Mince pieces, or mice pies as Charlie calls them, are very confusing. We thought we would be having them with chips as a treat for tea, but we had them after tea with ice cream?? -yummy in my tummy.
Mandy said this morning that it was eleven more sleeps, until Christmas.
We checked this out on our advent calandars. Yep me and Charlie have got eleven chocolates each left.
Then we thought about it. No there aren't eleven more sleeps to Christmas there are only ten - NOBODY sleeps on Christmas eve: hee hee! We won't be able to sleep we'll be so excited......
Off to ask Mandy if we can have mince pies for breakfast....

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

When me and Charlie woke up this morning it was white everywhere. Charlie said that it must be nearly Christmas.
I'm not sure, Santa hasn't been in touch and Stanley looks very relaxed at the moment.
(Stanley is one of Santa's reindeer so Christmas is a really busy time for him. The rest of the year he hangs around with me and Charlie)
Charlie says if it looks like Christmas and it smells like Christmas (Steve did have turkey in his sandwiches at lunchtime....) then it must be Christmas.
Panic!!!
I haven't written my list, better get on with it...

How many sleeps is it until Santa comes?

I keep asking everyone how many sleeps it is until Christmas?
I think it's: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve!
I wonder if I go and have a few naps during the day whether they would count as sleeps??
That would bring Christmas round much quicker!
I wonder if we all have to have lots of naps or whether just me doing it is enough for everyone......

I HAVE BEEN GOOD SANTA!!!

Well its the second of  December.
Me and Charlie are well into our advent calendars (maybe a tiny bit more into them than Mandy and Steve realise - don't tell them!)
It's so exciting, I LOVE Christmas (I may have mentioned that before!)
Me and Charlie are insisting that Mandy and Steve read Harold Saves Christmas every night! We know it off by heart already!
Off to see if I can sneak another chocolate from Charlie's advent calandar! I wonder if Christmas will come quicker the more windows open on our calendars?? Something to think about.
The main thing, Justin case Santa is listening, is that we have been really, really, really, really, really good.

It's Christmas in January!

Me and Charlie got really excited yesterday. We were watching one of our favourite programmes when the adverts came on. They were all talking about Christmas and that Santa would be visiting very soon! Wow we both thought, that's great it doesn't seem like a whole year since Santa came the last time. Whooooooppppppeeeeeeee, we love Christmas. Did I tell you that me and Charlie (well its was really mostly me)saved Christmas the year Santa ate too many mince pies? It's a great read, if you search for 'Harold saves Christmas' on the interweb, you'll find it.
Well, I went to ask Mandy when we were going to be able to get the tree.
"Good grief", she said, "we've only just put all of the Christmas decorations away in the loft!"
Me and Charlie explained that it said on the telly that it was nearly Christmas, "the telly is always right", explained Charlie.
Unfortunately for us it seems that the telly isn't always right, especially when you are watching programmes off the iplayer! Booooooooooo, it seems like its ages before Christmas is coming. I'll have to check the website www.haroldtheplatypus.co.uk to see how far away it is.
Hang on in there Christmas and Santa lovers I'm sure it will be December before we know it....
Off for a cheese and pickle sandwich to cheer myself up

We saw Santa!!!!

We've been spending the weekend with two of our biggest fans, Ella and Isabelle - they're princesses actually but I don't like to name drop. Because we can't spend Christmas with E and I we had an early Christmas day with them on Saturday - I'm hoping we are going to fit a few more Christmas days in before the big day on the 25th!
It was great. We went to Santas grotto, there were elves and everything! Ella sat on Santas knee and he gave her a present. We then all had our photo taken with Santa, which was very exciting. I managed to give Santa my second Christmas list. I remembered that there were one or two things I missed off the list that I asked Mandy to post to Santa a few weeks ago.
I must go and check out my website www.haroldtheplatypus.co.uk to see exactly how long it is until Christmas day.
Off to find a slice of lovely Christmas cake from 'Celebrate with Kate's cakes'.

The 1st week back!

Well, this is the saddest week of my year!
The week the Christmas tree comes down - boooooooo!
Mandy and Steve didn't like my idea of leaving the tree up all year - so it's gone - sob!!

On a brighter note, me and Charlie have started the count down to next Christmas. Steve says it's 11 months away. So that's only a little bit more that my flippers, plus paws plus Charlies' paws (we're not really sure how long 11 months is). Best get the new Christmas list started just in case!!

All the snow has gone now. Even the snow bear me and Charlie made in the back garden. He didn't eat the cheese and pickle sandwich we left out for him, so I finished it off!

Sam and Owen (who are big fans of me and Charlie - well mainly me!) have done some smashing pictures of us , here they are!

Aren't they fab! Thanks ever so much Sam and Owen for sending this to us.
Charlie looks like he's had too many pies over Christmas, hee, hee - just like Santa!

Must go, I've thought of a few things for my Christmas list......

Harold's first blog

Christmas is my favourite time of the year and I'm learning how to blog. If it wasn't for Charlie, I'd want Santa to be my best friend; I think Santa wants me and Charlie to be his best friends because we helped him deliver presents to every little boy and girl on Christmas Eve.

Steve has just finished writing about our adventure and Molly has done some lovely pictures to help explain the story to you. I'm so excited I could burst!

Me and Charlie have had lots of adventures and Steve and Molly are working on some of them to share with you.

I'm off for a mince pie now, see you later...
