Are we getting a gold postbox?

Me and Charlie have been watching the Anniversary Games today at the Olympic park.
Charlie said that he wondered, now that Jessie had won two rosettes in the doggie competition, whether we would be getting a gold postbox in the village (like the gold medal winners did at the Olimpets).
Silly Charlie!
That reminds me they seem to have forgotten to paint our postbox gold after I won my medal for swimming super fast last year at World Sports Day.....
Off to find some gold paint...

The doggie with the waggiest tail......

Today we all went to a country fair.
There were lots of things to do and loads of people there. I had hoped to meet some other platypuses but there were none there.
There was a doggie competition though so I entered Jessie.
We had to walk around the competition ring and do some tricks, like the ones we do at puppy training classes.
We won two rosettes!
Well when I say we I really mean me!
Jessie was so happy she give me a big wet lick on the face - yuck!
I said to the man judging the competition that next year they should have a competition for the best platypus at the show........

My trip to Oakland's school

Me and Steve were invited to Oakland's school by my great friend Theo.
We had a great day visiting all the classes and reading some of my adventures to the children. Both me and Steve were exhausted by the end of a great day!
I'm sure everyone will enjoy reading my adventures over the summer holidays
I hope all my new friends at Oakland's have great fun in the last couple of days at school
See you all again soon. I've got to go now and hurry Steve along with writing my new adventure Harold the Pirate - I'm really looking forward to reading that one!

My visit to Hatton Park school.....

Last week me and Steve had a very exciting trip to visit the boys and girls in Dragonfly class.
They've been eagerly awaiting the new book, Harold the Pirate, but Steve hasn't finished it yet. So we thought we'd pop along to the school to read them some of my adventure stories.
Imagine my surprise when I realised Dragonfly class had adopted my cousin who is also called Harold! He also has a best friend that is a teddy bear called Charlie (I think he is copying me!).
I don't see many platypuses so it was great to see another one, especially one called Harold!
I hope Dragonfly class will look after him and Charlie, you never know me and Steve might come back again to check!
The boys and girls were very excited as its nearly the start of their summer holidays. I hope they will be reading lots of books (especially ones about me) over the summer and who knows they may even write a new adventure story about me!
Happy holidays to all my new friends at Hatton Park school and good luck to Miss Thorne at her new school.
See you soon
