Harold the Platypus

Harold and Charlie Picture books. Adventures created for children, illustrated by children. Harold is a platypus. Some might say a slightly naughty or mischievous platypus from Australia. Charlie, Harold’s best friend, is a little bear who comes from wherever it is little bears come from. Harold and Charlie live with Mandy and Steve who have the very hard job of keeping the two friends out of trouble. They all live together in a little house in Cambridge and this is where our story begins….

Whooopppeeeeeeee, we do like to be beside the seaside, oh we do.....

We're going to the seaside tomorrow.
We love the beach.
Charlie has got his bucket and spade ready to build the first sandcastle of the year, and I've got my swimming trucks all ready to go. Oooooooh I can feel the sand between my flippers now.
I wonder if Mandy will buy us an ice cream each? I hope so.
Oh we do like to be beside the seaside, oh we......
